Laurel and I travelled to Puerto Rico for a week-long vacation. We stayed at El Convento, a renovated convent. It was a quaint hotel with a central surrounded courtyard. Each floor was open air and surrounded the interior courtyard with concentric corridors.
We had a wonderful time exploring Old Towne, the old forts, and photographing the infinite wild cats that consider the island their home.
We hired our own guide for a day. He drove us into the rain forest and showed us secret waterfalls that live well beyond the beaten path. We used our steady Feisol tripod and various ND filters to capture long exposures of the gorgeous waterfalls.
Puerto Rico is a beautiful place that made for wonderful photographs.
